Françoise Paigné (c1552-1611) was the wife of Jacques-Jean Boucher and mother of the immigrants Marin and Gaspard Boucher. She died in July 1611 at St-Jean-d'Angely, Saintes (near La Rochelle; the photo above shows one of the town gates). So far we know nothing about her parents. Several sources claim she was from St-Malo, but this is very unlikely.
